I so appreciated the effort put in so I could get my drum for Christmas. I take it on every walk and find places to play and have had so many lovely comments from other passing walkers. What a wonderful gift to share with the world. I love my drum and getting lost in the sounds shapes it makes . great quality, aesthetics, I love that Betty the goat supplied her hair to make the beaters. Amazing instrument in every way
I absolutely love my drum. It is everything I was expecting and more.
Damian was very accommodating and created a beautiful custom instrument.

I bought a Copper Mist with Mandala Design double sided drum with G major and D Celtic minor scales as a Christmas present for my mum. Steeltonguedrum.co.uk was the first site that I came across and, although I really liked the look of the drums, I continued to do research across a number of different sites to get a feel for what else might be available, as I had no experience with steel tongue drums. I swiftly came full circle back to steelto seenguedrums as I felt that the drum designs, the customability, and the fact they were handmade locally here in the UK was unrivalled. Damian has been extremely helpful and accomodating throughout the whole process of buying the drum. Communication has been fantastic and I really appreciated Damian’s advice about the nuances of a double sided drum; such as why the G major scale (rather than the D celtic minor scale) would be better placed on the side with the central hole. Despite the fact I had left it quite late to buy before Christmas, the drum was made and delivered very quickly. The reception from my mum (and whole family) could not have been better! We will definitely be buying from steeltonguedrums again - thank you!
